Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Tyler, Texas is seeking a full-time courier/driver to support the patient care workflow by transporting reports, specimens, and supplies between the laboratory and healthcare providers.

You will operate a vehicle in all weather conditions, while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by transporting reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all weather conditions.
• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
