Complete-Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under supervision. You will interview patients, record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers with a variety of clinical tasks in a busy outpatient setting.
Essential duties include performing tests, injections, EMR data entry, patient communication, and proper safety/hygiene protocols. The role requires standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements include CMA/Clinical Medical Assistant certification or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
- Knowledge of Word Processing, Internet software, EMR systems, and database software.
Responsabilités
- Interview patients and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, O2, weight, height).
- Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
- Hand instruments to provider for procedures.
- Sterilize instruments and perform basic tests (EKG, urinalysis, strep, flu, covid, mono, pregnancy).
- Administer injections per provider orders.
- Handle portal messages, refill medications, order labs/imaging, and preauthorizations.
- Enter data into EMR and maintain records.
- Assist with patient check-in and mobility as needed.
- Perform blood draws and assist with transport and safety.
