Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination.
• Drapes patients and positions instruments.
• Hands instruments and materials to doctor as directed.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Inventories and orders medical supplies.
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine lab tests.
• Keys data into computer to maintain records.
• Assist doctors with charting and audits.
• Venipunctures, EKGs, Vital Signs, blood draws, injections.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and related tasks.
