Job summary

amtran is seeking a full-time mechanic to join our hardworking team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to keep them in proper working order and compliant with state and federal regulations.

Experience with buses or medium/heavy-duty vehicles is a plus. CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, PA State Inspection License, and/or 608/609 A/C certifications are preferred but not required at time of hire.

FULL-TIME MECHANIC

Amtran is looking for an experienced mechanic to join our hardworking team of professionals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring all Amtran vehicles are in working order and in compliance with state/federal regulations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance.

Experience with buses and/or medium and heavy-duty vehicles a plus. CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, PA State Inspection License, and/or 608 and 609 A/C Certifications preferred but not required at time of hire.

Starting wage is $30.10/hour, with added incentives based upon _ certifications. Increase to $33.44/hour after one year of employment. Includes benefits such as health insurance, vacation, sick time, pension, and tool/uniform allowance.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a good driving record. Position is safety- sensitive and subject to DOT drug testing.
