Job summary

Freedom Square of Seminole in Seminole, Florida is seeking a Maintenance Tech to help maintain residential apartments and common areas to the highest standards.

You will perform routine and emergency repairs ranging from electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance, and assist with HVAC tasks. You’ll complete work orders promptly and communicate clearly with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Knowledge of HVAC.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs Routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, repairing doors and locks.
• Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Performs additional duties requested by the Supervisor and the Director of Plant Operations in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation within the community.
