Job summary

The Peaks Care Center in Colorado is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role. You will provide compassionate nursing care, monitor residents, assign duties to CNAs, and supervise care on the floor to support well-being and safety.

Benefits include a $3,000 sign-on bonus for FT, shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. A valid LPN license is required; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Pay range is $29.02–$35.30 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active and valid state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document residents’ physical findings, develop care plans, and communicate findings and prognosis to the attending physician.
• Deliver direct nursing care during emergencies and illnesses to preserve life and comfort.
• Educate residents and families about health maintenance and preventive care.
• Provide skilled nursing care to all assigned residents.
• Lead by example while administering medications and guiding CNAs.
• Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the RN Supervisor.
