Job responsibilities include: administering medications, obtaining and recording vital signs, providing and documenting basic resident care while ensuring our residents’ comfort and dignity, monitoring residents’ physical and mental conditions and reporting any changes to the healthcare team, documenting resident conditions and behaviors, collaborating with our team of CNAs, nurses, and providers to develop resident care plans, providing education and emotional support to our residents and their families, responding to emergency situations promptly, supervising and delegating tasks to CNAs, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain current nursing knowledge and skills, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies, and acting as a team player to support the overall functioning and success of the nursing home.
