Job description

Wonderful young family seeks an experienced Nanny to care for three young children and work alongside a stay-at-home mom. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting with daily care of an infant; creating a safe, educational, and nurturing environment.
2. Light tidying up after children; ensuring bedroom and play areas are consistently maintained.
3. Organizing recreational and educational activities.
4. Assisting with the daily care, supervision, and education of children while creating a fun, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
5. Coordinating activities for children, especially educational and recreational activities.
6. Children’s laundry.
7. Light cooking for children as needed.
8. Light housekeeping and organization.

This is a full-time, live-in position. Starting September/October 2017. Salary is generous but DOE.

Requirements

1. Certificate in CPR (infant and child) from an accredited program as well as general knowledge of first aid.
2. Minimum of 3 years related private home experience.
3. Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
6. Flexibility with hours and scheduling; must be available to work weekends.
7. Excellent cooking skills.
