Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and guide a group of 8–13 students. The role combines caregiving, supervision, and mentorship with daily routines, budgeting, and reporting responsibilities.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both be 27 or older, and have a high school diploma or GED. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Two-person couple must be married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
