FULL-TIME Licensed Practical Nurse at LOSMC - Larose

Purpose:

The purpose of the Office Nurse Position is to be responsible for the functions of the office and assist the physician.

Qualifications:

• A graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
• Willingness to work with people regardless of condition(s), which may be difficult to deal with.
• Possess skills in triage.
• Maintain current CPR.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Working Conditions:

• Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds approximately 15% of the day.
• Employee will be sitting approximately 20% of the day.
• Employee will be standing and walking approximately 40% of the day.
• Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 15% of the day.
• Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 10% of the day.
