About the Organization

Terradise Behavioral Healthcare is committed to providing comprehensive mental health services. Located in Henderson, Nevada, our clinic is designed with a client-focused philosophy, enhancing the therapeutic experience through collaboration and individualized support. We firmly believe in fostering strong relationships based on empathy and respect, which is reflected in our core values. Our team thrives in an inclusive culture that encourages innovation, professionalism, and continuous improvement in mental health care.

Work Environment

Our work setting primarily operates remotely, allowing for a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance. This has been particularly beneficial as we understand the importance of personal time in the healing and therapeutic processes, both for clinicians and clients. Despite working remotely, our team remains connected through regular virtual supervision sessions and team meetings. Our administrative support staff ensures that all clinicians can focus solely on providing high-quality care, taking care of all appointment scheduling, billing, and credentialing services to minimize distractions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Terradise Behavioral Healthcare, your daily activities will include:

  • Maintaining a manageable caseload of clients, fostering rapport and trust while adhering strictly to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conducting regular client sessions to evaluate progress, discuss therapy goals, and determine readiness for discharge when appropriate.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring detailed, person-centered treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Documenting all client interactions, treatment progress, and updates in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Performing initial intake assessments to understand clients’ challenges and develop a tailored treatment approach.
  • Engaging in individual therapy sessions that could include both face-to-face and telehealth formats.
  • Participating actively in one-on-one supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills and engage in professional dialogue.
  • Collaborating effectively with other health care professionals to provide holistic care and support.
  • Adopting a growth mindset by continually seeking opportunities for professional development and incorporating new skills into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on youth in need of mental health support. These individuals may present a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and other psychological issues. You will play a crucial role in guiding these young clients through therapeutic processes that promote resilience and personal growth. By establishing trusting relationships, you will empower clients to take charge of their mental health journeys, thereby contributing to their overall well-being and stability.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Nevada.
  • Proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical practice.
  • At least two years of experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and therapy, including both individual and group settings.
  • Prior experience in treating youth and populations with substance use disorders is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and competence in documenting clinical notes effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years working within outpatient mental health environments.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally responsive practices.
  • Proven track record of positive client outcomes and transformational change.
  • Comfort with digital health tools and platforms for remote counseling sessions.
Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy:

  • A flexible work schedule that accommodates personal and professional commitments.
  • Generous unlimited time off policy.
  • Ongoing professional development assistance and support for continuing education.
  • Coverage for malpractice insurance and payment of licensure fees.
  • A paid profile feature on the Psychology Today website, enhancing your professional visibility.
