Acuren is recruiting for full-time Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT Techs with State or IRRSP card to support our operation in Duluth, MN. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, performing tests using NDT methods, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Certified Level II credential.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II NDT technician with relevant state or IRRSP card.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.
• Local Duluth, MN candidates preferred; relocation considered.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

W e are currently seeking local candidates who are based in Duluth, MN OR those willing to relocate. Relocation Assistance and Sign-On Bonus available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
