Job summary

Acuren is seeking Full time CR/DR RT, MT, PT, UT Level II Technicians to support our Midland, TX operation. The role focuses on performing nondestructive testing using NDT methods, interpreting results, and reporting findings.

You may supervise others and ensure safety regulations are followed during inspections. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred, and a valid NDT Level II certification in listed methods.

• Certification as NDT Level II in CR/DR RT, MT, PT, UT is required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Full time CR/DR RT,MT,PT,UT Level II Technicians to support our operation in Midland, TX.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II (CR/DR RT,MT,PT,UT)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
