Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting. The role requires developing individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, and documenting progress and outcomes.

The position involves supervising PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide, plus ensuring compliant, evidence-based therapy through all stages of patient recovery within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification per policy guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and selects assessment techniques to create a care plan.
• Gathers data from medical records, physician notes, patient and family.
• Establishes functional goals with patients and adjusts care as needed.
• Documents evaluations, notes, education, outcomes and charges as required.
• Communicates findings to physicians and other staff and coordinates treatment and discharge planning.
• Supervises PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide as required by licensure.
