Compass Group USA through Restaurant Associates is seeking a full-time Food Service Utility at Guardian Life in New York, NY. Schedule is Monday through Thursday with varying hours; prior food service utility and food preparation experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous food service utility and food preparation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it properly.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads or unloads and delivers supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies and utensils as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
