Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Supply Chain Associate in Plymouth, MN to manage branch inventory and support B2B procurement activities. The role includes handling purchase orders, quoting, and sourcing products to meet customer needs. On-site responsibilities may include local deliveries from the Plymouth location.

The position offers a structured training path, a 7:00am–5:00pm schedule, and potential onboarding plans with a path toward performance-based scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and valid driver's license.
• Pursuing degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field OR related work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
