Job summary

Pasco County Schools Veterans Elementary School in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an Instructional Assistant, Basic to support teachers and students in a well-organized classroom environment. Under supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher, you will assist with instructional activities and student supervision.

The role is full-time, benefit-eligible, with required Parapro/ParaPro testing options and basic education requirements as described by the district. Immediate start is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on the ParaPro Test.
• All employees must satisfactorily complete any required training. All employees must meet mandated federal and state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.
• Support instructional activities and student supervision in the classroom.
