IVX Health in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide infusion therapy in our outpatient clinic. You will deliver direct patient care, supervise infusions and injections on-site and virtually, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

This role emphasizes patient education, documentation in EHR, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing professional development through CEUs and certifications supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Active NP license and RN license as required by state.
• Board Certification (AANP/ANCC) required.
• BLS; PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory infusion centers or outpatient clinics is a plus.
• Ability to treat both adults and pediatrics (FNP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and infusion administration on-site.
• Conduct patient assessments and document SOAP notes.
• Educate and support patients and families through treatment.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and accurate EHR documentation.
• Coordinate with referring providers and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in inventory management and regulatory adherence.
• Work across multiple facilities within the market as needed.

What You Will Do

• Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver on‑site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
• Conduct Patient Assessments – Perform evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
• Educate and Support Patients – Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
• Ensure Compliance and Quality – Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
• Optimize Clinical Workflows – Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work closely with referring providers and cross‑functional teams to enhance care coordination.
• Support Operations and Training – Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Flexibility and Adaptability – Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
• Perform Additional Duties – Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Active and Unrestricted Licenses – Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
• Board Certification – AANP or ANCC certification required.
• Life Support Certifications – BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• Clinical Experience – Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
• Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population – Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics—Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
• Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills – Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
• Proficiency in Clinical Documentation – Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
