Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a full-time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Winston-Salem, NC and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, allowing flexible schedules and deeper connections with families in their homes.

Compensation includes a base salary with bonuses; 4‑day schedules start at $85,000 and 5‑day schedules at $100,000, with additional per-schedule bonuses and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Support families through meaningful moments and collaborate with Lap of Love teams.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Winston‑Salem, NC, including Kernersville, High Point, Clemmons, Lexington, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)


• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license


• Availability to work some weekends


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance


• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
