Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to service Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, and surrounding areas. You will deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia care, balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being. A DVM is required and ownership of a valid U.S.

drivers license is essential. Compensation includes base salaries for 4-day and 5-day full-time schedules, with 3-day and part-time options prorated.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. drivers license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and coordinate with Lap of Love team.
• Engage with families to support emotional well-being during end-of-life care.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Brentwood, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, TN and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
