Job summary

AVD Workforce Connect is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) or Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate, in-home care to clients in Evansville, IN. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, companionship, and basic health monitoring in clients' homes.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certifications preferred, and a caring, patient-focused approach. Prior home care experience is a plus, and duties include documentation and coordination

Qualifications

• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) is preferred but may vary by state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are also preferred.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent required; state-approved training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands, including shopping and prescriptions.
• Monitor health, report changes to supervisor, and assist with medication reminders.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement.
• Collaborate on personalized care plans with the healthcare team.
