Job summary

Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Houseperson for a Full Time role, at the heart of the guest experience. You will answer guest requests, stock and clean spaces, and help create a memorable stay for all guests.

Join a team committed to luxury excellence, assist Housekeeping Attendants, maintain inventory, and clean public areas. Must communicate well in English, have open availability, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Olympic Hotel as our new Housekeeping Houseperson. As a Full Time Housekeeping Houseperson, you are at the heart of the hotel and our guest experience. You take ownership of answering guest requests, stocking and cleaning projects to ensure guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and are part of creating a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Being a team player in assisting the Housekeeping Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Complete assigned cleaning of public areas or heart of the house

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand and walk for 8-hour shift
• Must hold appropriate authorization to work in the US
• Required to hold valid US work authorization

Physical Requirements Include

This job requires constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Must be physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects.
