Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash minimizing disease transmission and hazards.
• Perform daily housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, carpets, walls and ceilings.
• Complete cleaning when residents are discharged or moved.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens following infection control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of general areas and assigned rooms.
• Practice infection control principles in cleaning methods and personal hygiene.
• Keep cleaning compounds stored properly for resident and staff safety.
