Job summary

Aravilla Sarasota is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming living environment in our assisted living community. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, can work independently, and communicates politely with residents and staff.

You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas, handle laundry, organize spaces, and assist with occasional deep cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring they are kept tidy and presentable.
• Change bed linens and towels; wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed.
• Organize and declutter spaces to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
• Handle occasional deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Maintain supplies and toiletries; notify management when stock is low.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies to maintain a healthy environment.
• Be available to work one weekend per month as part of a flexible schedule.
