Woodlands Retirement Community in Huntington, WV is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for residents, staff, and guests. You will perform duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window washing, carpet shampooing, and trash disposal while following safety and infection control practices.

The role requires the ability to work with residents respectfully, pass a background check, and adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Six months housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, guests, supervisors and peers.
• Must pass background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming and trash disposal.
• Wash inside windows, shampoo carpets and disinfect surfaces.
• Disinfect all laundry rooms, hand rails and base boards.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity and safe environment.
