• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Collect, sort, and transport soiled linens and laundry.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and resident concerns to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Follow all facility policies, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and seasonal deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.

The Holiday Retirement Village is hiring a full-time Housekeeper. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties throughout resident rooms, common areas, offices, dining rooms, restrooms, and other areas of the retirement community while treating residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas according to established procedures.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and furniture.
• Empty trash and replace liners in designated areas.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
