Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, associates, and visitors. You will launder towels and bed linens and keep resident apartments tidy.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 8am to 4pm. We provide training and benefits to support employees.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but we offer training. Join a company that values dedication to helping others.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor including: Bathrooms: toilet bowl, sinks, and bathtubs, wipes countertops, and mirrors, and sterilizes floors
• Kitchen: wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floor
• Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.
• Empties and rinses (if necessary) wastebaskets.
• Washes inside of windows as needed.
• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, and cleans other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
