The Nanny Poppins Agency is seeking a full-time, live-out Housekeeper/Family Assistant in Portland, ME. The role focuses on deep cleaning, laundry, kitchen upkeep, errands, and light childcare support in a private home.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable around pets, with a valid driver’s license and references. Work schedule is Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Prior professional housekeeping experience is required.
• Hospitality housekeeping background (B&B, boutique inn, or hotel) is preferred.
• Reliable, organized, and proactive personality.
• Comfortable working around pets.

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning and general household cleaning.
• Laundry, ironing, and linen care.
• Dishwashing and kitchen upkeep.
• Household organization and closet organization.
• Vacuuming and maintaining overall cleanliness.
• Running errands, including grocery shopping and returns.
• Support overall household operations efficiently.
• Occasional childcare duties and transportation.

Requirements

• Must have access to a reliable vehicle or be comfortable using the family vehicle for errands
• Must have 3-5 professional references
