Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an in-home, associate veterinarian to join our mobile practice. This role focuses on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care delivered in pets’ homes, with strong family communication and emotional support.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS or equivalent required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care.
• Manage patient care and communicate with families in a compassionate manner.

Veterinarian Salary Range:

3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Minneapolis, MN area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
