Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Salem, OR and surrounding areas. This role emphasizes work‑life balance, personal wellbeing, and meaningful patient care outside the traditional clinic setting.

As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide hospice and euthanasia services, supported by onboarding and mentorship. Opportunities vary between 3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day schedules with compensation based on structure and market rates.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care for pets and families.
• Deliver compassionate medical services in clients' homes.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team to ensure high-quality client communication and care.

Veterinarian Salary Range

3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Salem, OR area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $85,000 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day Full‑Time and Part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.
