Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in the Greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia to provide hospice and euthanasia care, bringing compassionate medicine directly to families in their homes.

The role offers flexible 2–5 day schedules, 3–4 un‑rushed appointments daily, and opportunities across 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑day full‑time plans with prorated compensation for shorter schedules. Growth and well‑being are prioritized in this mobile practice.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Serve as mobile veterinarian delivering compassionate pet care in clients' homes.
