Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Boston, MA is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to deliver hospice and euthanasia care at pets’ homes with flexible scheduling and balanced lifestyle.

You will join a national network of veterinarians with ongoing training, mentorship, and dedicated leaders, while practicing independently in the community.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for companion animals.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Boston, MA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $117,500 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day Full‑Time and Part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Availability to work some weekends

• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
