Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, located at North Austin Hospital, is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operate industrial floor care equipment. The role is based in Austin, TX with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and hours that may vary.

The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care equipment and safety procedures, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay of $22.50 is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance; perform stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
