Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring 2nd Shift Hospital Floor Techs at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH. The role involves cleaning and maintaining facilities on client premises, with emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

Daily tasks include monitoring areas, mopping, scrubbing, and operating floor machines. Candidates should have high school diploma or GED, and experience in janitorial services is a plus; post-offer screening may apply. The position offers shift differential and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
• Previous Floor Technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.
• Medical cleaning experience a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dust mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damp mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.
• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform Area Cleaner job duties.
• Performs related work as required.

Xanitos is hiring 2nd Shift Hospital Floor Techs at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH.

• Hourly Pay Rate $16.00
• Shift differential applied for 2nd shift: $1.50

Job Overview

Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Job Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus

Previous experience as a Floor Technician or related role preferred.

Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.

• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
