Job summary

Xanitos is hiring a Full-Time Hospital Floor Tech in Naples, FL to maintain a clean, safe hospital floor. Location: Physicians Reg Pine Ridge, 6101 Pine Ridge Rd, Naples, FL 34119. Rate: $14.00 per hour. Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Duties include cleaning of corridors, rooms, equipment, floor maintenance, and related tasks. Post-offer medical exam, background screening, and drug test required. High school diploma or GED required. Benefits and opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas for spills, cups, and debris.
• Clean all corners, edges, and baseboards in assigned areas.
• Dust mop hard floors, clear space behind doors, and move movable objects as needed.
• Remove marks and scuffs from floors.
• Damp mop floors using the assigned cleaning chemical or employ a scrubbing machine.
• Operate floor machines for assigned project tasks.
• Burnish floors with a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Perform floor scrubs, strips, or other specialized cleaning as needed.
• May assist with “Area Cleaner” duties.

Rate: $14.00 per hour.
Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift) | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (2nd Shift).

Job Overview

Floor Techs are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment on the hospital floor. Duties include routine cleaning of corridors, rooms, and equipment, as well as specialized floor maintenance and other related tasks as required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas for spills, cups, and debris.
• Clean all corners, edges, and baseboards in assigned areas.
• Dust mop hard floors, clear space behind doors, and move movable objects as needed.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Maintain a standing position for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements. Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception are necessary. Exposure to chemicals may require protective clothing and safety equipment.
