Xanitos, Inc is hiring a full-time Hospital Floor Tech at Tennova Newport Medical Center in Newport, TN. The role involves cleaning and maintaining health care facilities, operating floor machines, and performing project work to keep floors pristine.

Qualified applicants will have janitorial experience, prior floor technician work, knowledge of floor care equipment, and must pass post-offer screenings. Salary is hourly with bonuses tied to referrals and milestones.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and maintains facilities on client premises to ensure orderly conditions.
• Monitors areas for debris, spills and cleanliness; cleans corners and edges.
• Damp mops floors and uses scrubbing machines as needed.
• Operates floor machines for project work and burnishes floors as directed.
• Performs related tasks and area cleaning as assigned.

Xanitos is hiring a Full-time Hospital Floor Tech at Tennova Newport Medical Center In Newport TN.

• Hourly Pay Rate $14.00
• 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm

Job Overview:

Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, Spills, paper and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dust mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damp mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.

Project Work:

• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
• Performs related work as required.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry a must

Previous experience as a Floor Technician required.

Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques preferred.

• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
