Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative therapy to geriatric clients in assisted living and independent living communities in MA. The role involves home visits across Mansfield, Attleboro, Easton, Norton, Westwood, and Dedham, with a strong emphasis on evaluations, care planning, and education.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts OT license required.
• Minimum of one year of recent OT experience in home health or geriatric care.
• Proficiency in evaluating functional status and documenting care.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
• Perform comprehensive functional evaluations and develop intervention plans.
• Assess home environments for safety and independence barriers.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and activities.
• Document observations and interventions using a tablet-based system.
