Job summary

The Oaks Post Acute in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a full-time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to keep resident rooms, common areas, and laundry operations clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff alike. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and keep areas neat and fresh.
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry.
• Follow proper cleaning and infection-control procedures.
• Keep housekeeping and laundry areas clean and organized.
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
