Job summary

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, and tidying with standard policies and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). Influenza vaccination is mandatory; annual abuse training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is primarily responsible to perform a wide range of cleaning, disinfecting, and tidying duties. Performs all duties with various equipment following standard policies and procedures in order to maintain a pleasant and clean environment for patients/residents, visitors/families, and staff.
