Essential Functions:

• Assist customers at self-checkout registers, monitoring and providing help as needed
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers across registers
• Move throughout the checkout area, ensuring accurate transactions
• Thank customers and invite them back to shop at Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service according to Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and questions
• Show appreciation to customers
• Communicate product and warranty information
• Train and coach team members
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
• Support front-end team with cash handling and register duties
• Assist with security measures and store safety

In-stock:

• Prepare the register area at the start and end of shifts
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Handle online orders and verify receipts
• Price match with competitor prices
• Record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash drawers and safety bags
• Assist with security and theft prevention
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate store equipment as needed

General:

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles
• Experience in theft detection
