Job summary

C.A. Fortune is seeking a Grocery Merchandiser to manage a defined territory including Wellesley, Needham, and nearby towns. You will perform store visits, merchandising duties, and reporting via mobile apps, with a 40-hour work week in a full-time role.

Responsibilities include growing product distribution, stocking, and audits across multiple accounts. Must lift up to 50 pounds, drive within territory, and communicate effectively with store teams and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Reliable phone and internet for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).

Overview of the Role

• The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Territory covers Wellesley, Wayland, Needham, Newton and surrounding areas.
• Location: Wellesley, MA (within a 40-60 mile radius)
• This position is full time, 40 / hours a week
• Compensation: $23 - $24 hourly, based on experience, qualifications, and skills
• You will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
• Ensure our clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
• This position requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• This position requires you to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day
• You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
• This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do at C.A. Fortune

• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
