Job summary

AFR Furniture Rental in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Experienced Truck Driver & Furniture Mover for our warehouse. This full-time role includes delivering and installing furniture, as well as pickup duties for residential, commercial, and event clients.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401K plan. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, pass DOT physical and drug testing, and meet FMCSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in warehousing, delivery, or a related field.
• Must be able to operate a 26' box truck.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• DOT physical and drug testing requirements must be met.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles professionally, safely, and in accordance with DOT rules.
• Perform daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Deliver, install, and pickup merchandise per floor plans and customer invoices.
• Complete delivery paperwork and ensure correct merchandise is delivered.
• Maintain tool kit and report needs for replacement.
• Verify items with customers and obtain signatures on delivery documents.
• Inspect delivery/pickup locations and report damages, taking photos as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and DOT regulations during all tasks.
• Assist with warehouse stocking and packing materials as required.
• Wear AFR uniform during shifts and perform other duties as assigned.
