Job summary

AirSea Packing Group in Austell, GA is seeking a full-time delivery professional to transport furniture, artwork and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports or rail ports. You are the face of the company and customer service is a top priority.

Requirements include at least 2 years of commercial truck driving experience and at least 2 years of fine furniture handling and moving, with weekend availability.

• At least 2 years of fine furniture handling and moving experience.
• Weekend work availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, receive and transport furniture, artwork and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports or rail ports.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Obey all traffic regulations from City, State and Federal Laws.
• Keep record of materials and products transported.
• Secure cargo by positioning blocks and tying rope.
• Inspect and service vehicle.
• Obtain customer signature or collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges if needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading truck manually.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Be enthusiastic, hardworking, with a clean appearance and punctuality.
