Job summary

Fusion Transport in Romeoville, IL is hiring full-time forklift operators to join our fast-paced 3PL and cross-dock operation. This is year-round work with 40+ hours per week, opportunities for growth, and a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting daily forklift equipment, moving material using RF gun, entering transactions into WMS, performing cycle counts, maintaining clean, organized work areas, and collaborating with teammates and supervisors to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification is preferred or forklift experience.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete and document daily forklift inspections.
• Move material to/from stock to manufacturing lines using a RF Gun.
• Accurately transact all material movements in real time into WMS.
• Shrink wrap and stage pallets in the appropriate area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the building, including pallet organization and dumpsters/recycling areas.
• Be in constant communication with team members and leadership to understand needs and status of current and future jobs.
