Job summary

Good Samaritan in Estes Park, CO is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our not-for-profit team. You will monitor food temperatures, set up serving areas, prepare and serve meals, restock supplies, and handle cash transactions on a daily basis.

This full-time 40-hour per week role offers day shifts with a $15.25–$23.75 hourly wage and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. We provide health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Basic math skills required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures.
• Set up and maintain a clean serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items.
• Restock food areas and clean equipment.
• Receive payment using a computerized register.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure food safety.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
