Job summary

East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our environmental services team. You will clean, strip, wax, buff, and maintain floors; operate floor care equipment; assist with carpet cleaning; follow safety and infection control procedures; work with housekeeping and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Prior floor tech or janitorial experience; healthcare setting a plus.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning products.
• Willingness to take on light maintenance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean, strip, wax, buff, and maintain all facility floors.
• Operate floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.
• Assist with carpet cleaning and surface maintenance.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Ensure floors remain clean, safe, and presentable.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Complete light maintenance tasks as assigned, e.g., cleaning AC filters and painting.
