Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Floor Technician at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Shifts available: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am. Prior floor care experience preferred; be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
