Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions seeks a full-time floating Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for multi-site coverage in Augusta, Waterville, and Hallowell, ME. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and the role includes diverse assignments across assisted living, independent living and memory care settings.

You will float to facilities in multiple communities, partnering with therapists and nursing staff to deliver high quality care while maintaining documentation and client progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in Maine.
• Experience in sub-acute or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in electronic systems.
• Be flexible with hours and able to float between facilities in Augusta, Waterville and Hallowell, ME.

The Qualified Candidate Will:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
