Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse to provide direct patient care at our Stoneham and Waltham centers in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have MA RN licensure, experience with infusion therapy, and strong IV skills, with autonomy to manage patient care in an outpatient setting.

ACLS & PALS are preferred, BLS CPR is required, and familiarity with EHR systems is essential. Schedule includes weekdays with 1–2 Saturdays per month, and potential center flex as needed.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license required.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy setting.
• Proficient IV insertion (5+ per shift).
• ACLS & PALS preferred; BLS CPR required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Willing to work 1–2 Saturdays per month and flex to other centers as needed.

Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, and experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs. The Infusion Nurse role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio).

Schedule

Monday - Friday

• three: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and two 10:30 AM–7:00 PM.
• Mileage reimbursement at the national rate
• one Saturday/month (4 hours) if needed

In this role, you will

• Assess and document the health status of the patient
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients

Here’s what we’re looking for

• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts, and open to getting licensure in another state
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
• Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
• ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
• Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month
• Depending on the needs of the center, must be open to flex to other centers
