Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents in a two-person couple role. Couples live on campus and provide care, guidance, supervision and support for a group of 8–13 students, enabling their academic, emotional, and social growth in a family-like setting.

Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, transport, devotions, and coordinating schedules; transition to a placed houseparent role with continuity for the students. Prior youth experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Rotate initial duties across multiple homes, then transition to a placed houseparent role with a stable group of students.
